After 3 years managing the Global Online Business and Websites for Panda Security, Enrique is now overseeing the whole Consumer Market Worldwide. He now leads not only the Global Team for all ecommerce operations, and the various websites, but also the local teams conducting Retail Business, including operations with :wholesalers, retailers and the distribution channel. “This is a great challenge and a great opportunity, I am lucky of having a very talented team that for sure will help me make this venture a success”.

Enrique studied Aviation Computer Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida, after attending High School also in the State of Florida. He is passionate about his work and about his big family, 4 Children of his own, and Twin Couple coming from his new family. “Having six children at home is a joy, they make our lives happier, and there is no time for boredom.”

Ignacio Manrique de Lara joined Panda in 2006, where he has been in charge of Panda European Subsidiaries, working in both the Sales and Financial areas. He is currently in charge of Business Operations for the whole Group.

He has extensive experience in management and has held a range of management posts in multinational companies in the IT and Media sectors, including the Prisa Group, where he was Assistant General Manager of Santillana Formacion, and the Berltelsman Group where he was manager of Eurosoft and director of the Multimedia area of the Professional Information division.

Ignacio holds a degree in Business and Economic Science from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and has completed the Management Development Program (PDD) at the IESE business school.

Rick Carlson oversees the operational activities and strategic direction in one of the company’s fastest growing markets as the new president of Panda Security USA. Carlson comes to Panda Security from AVG Technologies, where he served as managing director of North American operations, leading the AVG product line as well expanding the company’s consumer, SMB and OEM sales efforts in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to joining AVG, Carlson was CEO of anti-spyware company Aluria Software, which was acquired by EarthLink under his leadership.

His interest in IT security arose in 1988, designing and developing the first antivirus products for AmigaDos operating systems. In 1990, he founded the IT company Bitmap Multimedia, dedicated to developing medical software. In 1996, he joined Panda, working in software analysis and programming. He later managed software development teams until 1998, when he took charge of the R&D Division. In 2002, he became Chief Technology Officer at Panda, managing the research and innovation area, known as Panda Research.

Inaki Urzay holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Deusto, Bilbao.

With long experience in financing and budgeting positions, Juan Andres Garcia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics by the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain). He was Media Director at Cofares from 2006, Finance Director at Grupo Empresarial Ence and Corporate Finance Director at the Prosegur security services company (2000-2005).

He ha also spent 8 years in the investment banking sector, as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer at Warburg Dillon Read (UBS) for Spain and Portugal, where he acted as financial, tax and legal advisor until 1999 for the various units in the group, as well as evaluated new initiatives and projects, among other responsibilities.

In 2009, he joined Panda Security as CFO.

M. Arantza de la Llosa joined Panda Security in May 2005 and worked as Deputy Director of the Solutions and Services Development area until July 2007, when she was appointed CIO of the company. Her experience in executive positions in the Information and Communications Technologies sector goes back to 1998. Prior to working for Panda, she was IT Systems Subdirector reporting directly to the Director of Operations at the Red.es public company, IT Systems Director at AOL Spain and Director of the Oracle Technology Center at Tecsidel.

M. Arantza de la Llosa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from the Deusto University (Spain). She also has a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resource Management from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
